Supervisor
Raquel was introduced to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2017 and gained experience working as an assistant paraprofessional in the public and charter school system including Ernie Els Center for Autism. Raquel worked as a Registered Behavior Technician in-home for 3 years both in Florida and Colorado with clients from ages 2-16. Driven by her passion to work and help kids needing additional support she pursued and completed her Bachelor of General Studies in Education at Florida Atlantic University. Soon after, she obtained her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis with an Emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. Having been born in Cuba Raquel has the ability to cater to families whose primary language is Spanish.
Raquel joined Behavior and Learning Group in 2019, While pursuing her master’s degree Raquel and her family moved to Colorado Springs chasing her love for the outdoors.
In her free time, Raquel loves spending time with her dog and husband, attending concerts, traveling and coffee.
