Ashley was introduced to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis during an independent study at North Central College in Naperville Illinois in 2013. Soon after the introduction to ABA, Ashley worked as a behavior therapist in-home until she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015. After graduation, Ashley moved to Colorado Springs, CO. She worked as a care coordination specialist for a brain injury rehabilitation center. She worked in conjunction with social workers and psychologists to serve adults with traumatic brain injuries using evidence-based interventions in behavior analysis.
Ashley quickly realized her passion for applied behavior analysis and joined the Behavior and Learning group in 2017 to pursue her professional accreditation in behavior analysis. She earned her Master’s of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2018. She then completed her BCaBA in February 2019, and her BCBA in May 2019. Ashley’s professional passions include teaching functional alternative skills that reduce challenging behavior and supporting her clients to build skills towards independence.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys hiking with her dogs, antiquing, and music.
